Employees and business partners participated in the event, paying tribute to freedom fighters and their contributions to nation-building.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Rajesh Kumar, CEO and Director, BALCO, unfurled the national flag, followed by the national anthem. In his address, he acknowledged the efforts of employees in advancing the organisation\u2019s contribution to a developed India and encouraged them to continue their focus on operational excellence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting BALCO\u2019s role in India\u2019s growth, Mr. Rajesh Kumar said, \u201cFor nearly six decades, BALCO has been contributing to the country\u2019s development. The company has generated business opportunities worth thousands of crores of rupees in the state. As we work towards Atmanirbhar Bharat with a focus on operational excellence, we have ensured adherence to \u2018zero harm, zero waste, zero emissions\u2019 across our operations. By strengthening the aluminium industry through innovation, community development, and environmental responsibility, we are committed to supporting the vision of a self-reliant and prosperous nation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As part of the community initiatives on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Kumar along with senior officials visited BALCO Hospital. The visit included distribution of fruits to patients, interaction with them regarding their health, and extending wishes for their recovery.
